"Whiskey--From the Still to the Battlefield"
BB's Stage Door Canteen

Doors: 5:45 p.m.
Price: $50 / $47 Members (Includes 3 cocktails)

Whiskey has played an important role in boosting American morale since the Revolutionary War. Join us at BB's Stage Door Canteen for a discussion on the history of whiskey—from the illicit stills during Prohibition to an era of refined tastes for American whiskeys after World War II (and the whiskey distilleries' pivot to support the wartime effort in the production of rubber and industrial alcohol). Drinks historian Elizabeth Pearce will even highlight the economic connections with Canada and the United Kingdom in filling the American market with blended whiskies and scotch. You won’t want to miss this evening of cocktails and history!
