Dinner with a Curator

Brandon Stephens presents “A Peace for Christmas”

By the end of 1914, the Western Front of World War I had devolved to a state of trench warfare. For one short period that Christmas, the soldiers of both sides, ignoring higher orders, made truces and came together in scenes of wartime camaraderie amongst foes rarely seen before or since. Discover why this event would have such a major impact on the course of the war, and why the story resounds with audiences 100 years later in our December Dinner With a Curator.
