May The Fourth Be With You!: World War II's Influence on "Star Wars"
BB's Stage Door Canteen (Lecture) and The American Sector Bar and Restaurant (Reception)

Note: A 5:00 p.m. reception precedes the 6:00 p.m. lecture. Registration for the lecture only (in person or streaming) is free. Tickets to the reception are $15 for Members, $20 for non-members.

Join The National WWII Museum as curators Josh Schick and Cory Graff discuss the different ways that World War II influenced the Star Wars saga, from its weapons and costumes to its epic galactic battle scenes.

Preceding the lecture, The American Sector Bar & Restaurant transforms into a cantina with a Star Wars inspired reception that features Baby Yoda deviled eggs, Skywalker shrimp sabers, Boba Fett-uccini, and a special Jawa Juice cocktail.

Tickets are required to attend in-person and must be purchased in advance. Tickets include appetizers and one Jawa Juice cocktail, with a cash bar available for other libations. A very limited number of free lecture-only tickets will be available on a first-come-first-serve basis.
