Jim Hedtke presents "They Never Grew Old: The Freckleton, England, Air Disaster"

On August 23, 1944, an American B-24 bomber crashed into the small English village of Freckleton. The ensuing firestorm killed 61 people, including 38 children attending class at Holy Trinity School—in a town of only 900, an entire generation of children. Learn about the worst civilian air disaster suffered by the Allies in World War II in this presentation by Dr. Jim Hedtke.
