Stage Door Canteen

The film tells the story of the United States military garrison on Wake Island and the onslaught by the Japanese following the attack on Pearl Harbor. Winner of four Oscar nominations, Wake Island remains an excellent example of propaganda-as-entertainment. View our special exhibit, Infamy — December 1941, before the show or grab a bite in the American Sector. This event is free and open to the public and reservations are not required.
