Veterans Day Commemoration Ceremony
|
Join us for Veterans Day at The National WWII Museum as we commemorate those who have selflessly served our country and whose sacrifices we must never forget. It is at the foundation of our mission to preserve the stories of American servicemembers and honor all who have and continue to honorably serve our great nation. To mark this holiday, the Museum proudly offers FREE admission to veterans of all conflicts. This Veterans Day, the Museum will celebrate the opening of its latest special exhibit, Fighting for the Right to Fight: African American Experiences in World War II, which explores the significant role Black Americans played in securing Allied victory in the face of discrimination. On display in the Senator John Alario, Jr. Special Exhibition Hall from November 11, 2024, through July 27, 2025, Fighting for the Right to Fight: African American Experiences in World War II is presented by the Donald Family in honor of Cpl. Warren J. Donald Sr. with additional support from Dr. Bobby and Mrs. Lori Kent Savoie and Timber and Peggy Floyd. Registration for this event is encouraged but not required.
