Tom Czekanski presents The Russo-Japanese War 1904–1905

Tom Czekanski, director of collections and exhibits, will examine the history and significance of the Russo-Japanese War examining not only the tactics which foreshadowed later wars of the 20th century, but also the strategic importance of this war to the shift in the balance of power and its impact on both World Wars. Join us as we examine this often overlooked conflict and examine its important role in setting the stage for larger conflicts of the 20th century.

Dinner with a Curator is an evening of dinner and history hosted by The American Sector Restaurant + Bar culinary team and The National WWII Museum professionals. Guests participate in discussion on a featured topic related to World War II which is interpreted through the Museum's collection and a theme-inspired four-course dinner paired with beverage specials.
