Culture Collision 8
US Freedom Pavilion: The Boeing Center

The National WWII Museum is proud to host Culture Collision 8, a one-of-a-kind happy hour that brings together almost 70 New Orleans cultural organizations. Each institution will have membership materials, previews of the upcoming season, exclusive ticket promotions, schedules, and information for participants to take home.

The event will continue last year's popular performances by select groups, including the Museum's Vic-Tones, Dancing Grounds, OperaCreole, and a jazz ensemble from Xavier University's Department of Music. Also returning is the annual free drawing, featuring giveaways, from tickets and annual memberships to artwork and merchandise, from all participating organizations. Multiple cash bars will also be on-site with complimentary shots of a specialty cocktail.

Founded in 2008, Culture Collision was created to provide New Orleans arts and culture organizations a collective voice, as well as a platform for collaboration and promotion. Culture Collision 8 is hosted by WWNO and sponsored by DEVENEY, Dirty Coast, and The National WWII Museum. It is organized by a planning committee representing the Arts Council of New Orleans, DEVENEY, Funny Bones Improv, Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra, New Orleans Ballet Association, New Orleans Opera Association, the Ogden Museum of Southern Art, Southern Rep, and WWNO.

Admission is free, and pay parking is available in The National WWII Museum's new Magazine Street parking garage, located between Andrew Higgins Drive and Poeyfarre Street. Metered parking and additional non-Museum pay lots are also located throughout the neighborhood.
