Toni Kiser presents "Sweetheart Jewelry"

During World War II, the distance and hardship of war could be briefly overcome by keeping in touch with one’s folks back home. Sweetheart jewelry served not only as a token of love and reminiscence but also as a means of keeping a connection. It allowed the ones at home to display their patriotism by wearing the pieces sent from their loved ones overseas. Assistant director of collections management Toni Kiser presents.
