Toni Kiser presents “Buckles, Bayonets, and Bathrobes: Souvenirs of WWII”

Men and women traveled thousands of miles during World War II. From exotic locations like the Pacific Islands, to the Burmese jungle, or to the mountains of Italy, these young Americans were flung into places many had only read about. Along the way many found ways to bring a little piece of these places and the events they witnessed home.

Dinner with a Curator is a seasonal series in which Museum staff and guests discuss a featured topic related to World War II while enjoying a delicious three-course dinner. All dinners catered by The American Sector restaurant. Space is limited and reservations are required.
