For the past several years our Memorial Day commemoration has highlighted the service and sacrifice of fallen servicemembers by working with the families of those who made the ultimate sacrifice in World War II. Memorial Day honors those who have given all for their country and for freedom. Join us for events that honor these brave men and women.

The Marine Corps Band New Orleans will pay tribute to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our great nation. Their Memorial Day weekend concerts will honor those who have fallen but will never be forgotten.

Commemoration Ceremony
US Freedom Pavilion: The Boeing Center

To commemorate Memorial Day, the Museum hosts a ceremony featuring families of the fallen and teen Preston Sharp, founder of Flags and Flowers for Vets. The ceremony will also be livestreamed for those unable to attend in person.

 

3:00 p.m. – 3:05 p.m.

National Moment of Silence
US Freedom Pavilion: The Boeing Center

Each year, the Museum joins the nation in a moment of silence for our fallen before ringing the Normandy Liberty Bell.
