The Battle of Peleliu raged from September 15 to November 27, 1944, and Tom Lea was there to bear witness, creating images that brought the war home to the American populace. Join Brendan Greeley Jr., USMC (ret), editor of The Two-Thousand Yard Stare: Tom Lea's World War II, as he discusses the actions of the campaign, the men involved, the objectives sought, and the aftermath, and brings Tom Lea's paintings to life through historical research and examination of Lea's art.
