John McGuckin presents "German Small Arms in WWII"

This presentation will detail the development of German infantry weapons used in World War II focusing on the limitations placed on Germany by the Versailles Treaty. The WWII Wehrmacht arsenal lineage of many of our present day infantry weapons will be traced, including the AK-47, hand-held anti-armor devices, squad light machine guns, and submachine guns. Actual battlefield deployments, field modifications, and improvements as well as the innovative original designs and manufacture of the various weapon systems will be discussed.
