The American Sector will close at 3:00 pm on December 31, 2013, for a ticketed New Year’s Eve celebration. Find out how you can join us! Tickets: Price includes: valet parking; open bar; Chef John besh dinner stations from 9:00 pm – 11:00 pm; dessert station until midnight; champagne toast at midnight; party favors, balloon drop; and a parting gift bag. Entertainment: Ring in the New Year 1940s style at The National WWII Museum’s 1st annual New Year's Swingin’ Eve in the US Freedom Pavilion: The Boeing Center. Dine and dance to the Museum’s Big Band in a towering 95 foot pavilion in the heart of downtown New Orleans. Enjoy the close harmonies of the Victory Belles and the upbeat and talented cast of Jump, Jive and Wail: The Music of Louis Prima. Reservations are required; 40’s dress suggested! The emcees for the event are Chriss Knight and WDSU Anchor, Norman Robinson, and the Stage Door Canteen will have ticket give-a-ways throughout the evening for best-dressed 1940s couple, best-dressed male and female, best dance couple and best 40's hairstyle.
