Join Assistant Director for Curatorial Services Kimberly Guise as she discusses the Museum's latest special exhibit, So Ready for Laughter: the Legacy of Bob Hope. Hear about Hope's travels to bring entertainment to the troops serving overseas during the war years, including his summer 1944 Pacific tour. Hope referred to this tour as "The Pineapple Circuit," during which he and his troupe logged more than 30,000 miles and staged 150 shows.

Dinner with a Curator guests can come early for a special look at the Museum's newest special exhibit, So Ready for Laughter: the Legacy of Bob Hope, with the exhibit's curator Kim Guise from 5:30 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. For the exhibit viewing, guests should enter at the Solomon Victory Theater or The American Sector Restaurant & Bar and cross the American Spirit Bridge to the Joe W. and Dorothy D. Brown Foundation Special Exhibit Gallery on the second floor of the Louisiana Memorial Pavilion.

Dinner with a Curator is an evening of dinner and history hosted by The American Sector Restaurant + Bar culinary team and The National WWII Museum professionals. Guests participate in discussion on a featured topic related to World War II which is interpreted through the Museum's collection and a theme-inspired four-course dinner paired with beverage specials.
