Stan Chiocchio presents "The Mighty Eighth: Fighter Coverage and Strategic Bombing"

Stan Chiocchio will conclude the third part of the B-17 in the Mighty Eighth Air Force. He will cover from 1944 until war’s end, when the US gained control of the sky over Germany. Also covered will be the effect on the ground war when the US finally landed an army on the ground at Normandy and drove to Berlin, including the close air support the Eighth Air Force provided the war on the ground.
