Chrissy Gregg presents Margaret Bourke-White: Chronicling the War in Pictures

Hear the amazing story of the first female war correspondent accredited by the military during World War II. As the first photographer for Fortune magazine, and the first female photographer for LIFE magazine, Bourke-White was a pioneer who captured memorable wartime images both at home and abroad. From documenting the rise of Nazism in central Europe in 1938, to covering the ground war in Italy, to showing ultimate destruction in Germany and the horrors of concentration camps, Bourke-White's photographs brought the grim reality of war to avid readers of LIFE.

Warning: Some images shown in this presentation are graphic and may not be suitable for all audiences.
