Nathan Huegen presents "POWs in Louisiana"

History Day Coordinator Nathan Huegen will explore the experiences of Louisiana’s WWII POW camps. German soldiers captured in the front lines were taken to camps near the towns of Ruston, Livingston, Leesville and many others. Learn how the labor from these prisoners affected the state and how Louisiana residents reacted to these prisoners. Feel free to bring your lunch or just come and enjoy the lecture.
