David Kiley presents Writing the War: Chronicles of a WWII Correspondent David Kiley tracks the correspondence between a WWII journalist and the woman he would eventually marry. The letters between Charles Kiley and Billee Gray tell a poignant tale of two young people forced apart by a world at war. As expansive as it is personal, this chronicle of World War II is a compilation of never-before-published letters that weave together the fabric of the American spirit. David will sign copies of his book for sale at 1:00 p.m. in the Museum Store. Lunchbox Lectures are free and open to the public on every first and third Wednesday of the month.
