John Besh premieres My New Orleans: The Cookbook

Chef John Besh of the Museum's soon to be open American Sector restaurant premieres My New Orleans: The Cookbook at The National World War II Museum Store on October 7, 2009 from 6:00 pm 9:00 pm. 

In My New Orleans: The Cookbook, the James Beard award-winning chef draws upon his childhood memories of growing up in New Orleans to compile a collection of 200 truly unique contemporary dishes. Recipes for traditional New Orleans classics from seafood gumbo to beignets are accompanied by stunning photos and informative side notes with personal advice on each dish.

Copies of My New Orleans: The Cookbook will be available for $45 each with a portion of proceeds benefitting Café Reconcile. Museum members receive a 10% discount on all Store purchases.
