White Glove Wednesdays

It's one thing to read on an exhibit label that an infantryman's pack in World War II weighed forty pounds. But now The National WWII Museum offers you the opportunity to pick up an infantryman's pack and try it on for yourself! Join Curator Eric Rivet each Wednesday morning in the Louisiana Memorial Pavilion as he leads a program on the uniforms and equipment used by American and German soldiers during World War II. Visitors will be able to pick up and try on original and reproduction helmets, uniforms, boots, packs and other personal equipment. This program is free with Museum admission. For more information, please call 504-528-1944 x 288.
